Application Checklist

The following is a list of documents that are most likely to be required during the mortgage application process. Every person’s situation is different, however, and so exactly what we need from you during your process will be different as well. Throughout the process, you are likely to be asked to provide additional information. The more complete your initial application packet, and the quicker you are able to provide our team with any additional documentation asked for, the smoother your loan process will go.



  • Copy of your photo ID

  • Copies of your pay-stubs for the most recent 30-day period and year-to-date

  • Copies of your W-2s for the past two years (all pages)

  • Two years tax returns, personal and corporate if applicable (all pages)



  • Current mortgage statements on any properties owned

  • Most recent insurance statement for properties owned


Additional Income sources

  • Alimony or Child Support: if you will use income from alimony or child support you receive to qualify, provide divorce decree/court order stating amount, and also proof of receipt of funds for previous year

  • Social Security, Disability, or VA income: if you receive funds from any of these agencies that you are using to qualify, provide award letter


Source of Funds & Down Payment

  • Bank statements for the most recent 2 months of any savings, checking, or money market accounts (all pages)

  • Credit Card information for the cost of the appraisal

  • If you are selling your existing home, provide a copy of the signed sales contract and the settlement statement
